Kiwanis Club of Downtown Allentown

As one of the oldest clubs in the United States, Kiwanis Club of Allentown has a rich history of promoting and helping children. The Downtown Allentown Kiwanis Club has adopted the Lehigh Valley Child Care Center at 12th and Walnut Streets in Allentown. The club has donated the "Room" size Kiwanis Reading rug along with monthly activities for the children, which includes the annual Christmas party in December. Santa and a magician entertain the children. The Allentown Brew Works donates the lunch and the Allentown Public Library donates the books to the children for the annual Christmas luncheon.
