New Member Inducted

posted on December 20, 2010 02:59 pm

Welcome Charlie Heller, Superintendent of Crawford Central School District! Charlie was inducted into our club on Dec. 20 at Monday's noon meeting by Member Roger Janes. To best describe the club's endeavors to Charlie, Roger used MERRY CHRISTMAS as an acronym and asked the club to fill in its endeavors. With about 25 people in attendance, we more than filled up MERRY CHRISTMAS and, had there been time, we would have started on SEASON'S GREETINGS. Despite the fun, welcome Charlie to the wonderful world of Kiwanis!

Secret Greeter In Effect

posted on December 7, 2010 08:29 pm

As a way to enhance our already welcoming atmosphere, we have implemented a Secret Greeter at our meetings. Kiwanians are to greet the Secret Greeter or pay a penalty (to be determined) one but the greeter him or her self knows who the greeter is, so the point is to greet everyone who comes to the meeting. As you can imagine, it's generated much chatter and fun times at the beginning of our meetings. Join us and find out how much fun we have!

We thank those who have purchased in the past and hope that you will continue to support our club to allow us to provide programs for the children of our community. Please contact your favorite Kiwanian for yours! Makes a great holiday gift! Visit several restuarants in the area and try some new cuisine!
